Basic & essential costs

Estimated fuel cost. Please bare in mind there are majority of road conditions around the highland are narrow and winding, which may potentially increase the consumption of fuel.

The insurance and car cost is around £30 per day, if without any accident. The normal excess for insurance is between £100 to £600 if accident damage is claimed (non-fault ones can have the excess refunded later but would normally still lead to increase of premium in the following 2-5 years.)

Accommodation is around £7 to £££ per person per night (pppn) depends on your choice. The same costs would apply for food & leisure.
