The Independent Flight Attendants Organization (UFO) has announced nationwide 24h strike actions for Friday, 7. September 2012.

The call to strike action forces Lufthansa to cancel a majority of flights. Unscheduled cancellations and delays of Lufthansa flights must be anticipated. Flights of Lufthansa Regional- and Partnerairlines (Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Augsburg Airways, Brussels Airlines, CityLine, Eurowings, Germanwings and SWISS) will not be affected. However, at this stage Lufthansa cannot say for sure what exact impact the strike action will have.$ }$ O% H. e) D3 r% b7 z

Even after the end of the strike, Lufthansa foresees irregularities in flight operations./ r5 ]- A6 s4 w8 f+ L) f

Lufthansa regrets any inconvenience to its passengers caused by the strike measures and will do its utmost best to minimize the impacts. Passenger support and service have paramount priority. Whenever possible, Lufthansa passengers, who have registered their contact details in their customer profile, will be informed via SMS or email about delays, cancellations and rebookings.
