Anyone want to see Scottish International Badminton Open 2013?
Glasgow’s Emirates Arena is home to the Scottish Open Badminton Championships, to be held from 20-24 November 2013.
This annual event is part of the Badminton World Federation Grand Prix event series. It will be the first time a Grand Prix event has been held in Scotland, giving fans the chance to see world class action in the fastest racquet sport on earth.
Prepare to watch in awe as some of the world’s best athletes display amazing feats of power, speed, strength & agility as they compete for the title of Scottish Open Champion.
The event will take place in Glasgow’s stunning new Emirates Arena, the venue which will host the badminton event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The event will feature men’s and women’s singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles. Play will take place over five days of competition starting with the qualifying rounds and men’s singles on Wednesday 20 November and culminating in a thrilling climax on Sunday 24 November with the finals of all five events.
